Lightening the Dark

Turn on the lights and let me see your dark soul...

Look at you in all black attire with the heart to match. 

They say you're too damaged to be good,

but a little damage could be good....

I pray that all your life lessons make you strong,  

and never turn you cold. 

It's a cruel world...

but when it gives you the cold shoulder,

know that you can lean on mine.

You could lean on mine if you are mine. 

I'm on a mission to enlighten you.

Maybe if you let my light shine through you, 

I could brighten your soul.  

There's just some thing that I have to know

 Would you put me through the fight if it meant losing my light in the process? 

Would you put me through the fight and just to stay with my light?

Walls

Some people build walls to protect themselves from others.

Some people build walls to filter out who they let in and who they don't.  

I've built a wall...

It encircles the greatest parts of my being.  

It guards, protects, and shelters all the major components that make me, me. 

It's high enough to keep out intruders.

It's low enough to be climbed if there is will. 

If there is ambition, strength, desire, and willpower you can climb my wall.

Climb my wall and experience all the greatness I have to offer... with no boundaries    

Flying Charter Over Seas

Trying to make it so that they know you over seas..
I'm just trying to make it over seas without being seen..
If we fly across the border,
could we overcome all of our borders..
If we take the map and fold it up could that bring us closer?.. Make the distance a bit more "tolerable"..?
I just want to reach the destination sooner rather than later..  by now, we are running on fumes..
I just want to get close to you somewhere far away.. 
In a place with no cell reception.
