I won't play hard to get because I know your life has been hard enough already.. Love is just a game: the birds play tic-tac-toe and those of us with some emotional intelligence play chess. We sit out in the patio playing with our scars, saying "checkmate" when we are the one that makes it out without a broken heart. i don’t fear a broken heart… i intend to live my life and love in abundance. and if i leave this world with a broken heart, there’s going to have to be a thousand separate heavens for all my shattered pieces.
